After
living all over the U. S. and Germany, I have chosen to return to
Oregon. Although I grew up in the Willamette Valley, I now live in
Southern Oregon, which is a beautiful and unspoiled part of the world.
It has been wonderful discovering out-of-the-way places tucked in the
hills and valleys of the region, not to mention the beautiful Umpqua
River, rugged coastline, and Cascade Mountains. The region's natural
beauty, diversity and wildlife are just some of the painting
inspirations found here.
While
I enjoy painting a variety of subjects in different mediums, the
majority of my paintings are animals and landscapes in pastels, as well
as abstract interpretations using acrylics and colorful collages.
